XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS is designed to be virtually invisible, allowing your vehicle's original color and finish to show through. Although film edges may be visible in certain areas, we wrap all appropriate edges whenever possible to achieve a clean, professional appearance.

Can PPF protect against rock chips?

Yes. Paint Protection Film creates a protective barrier that helps absorb impacts from small rocks, road debris, and other everyday driving hazards. While no film can prevent every type of damage, PPF significantly reduces exposure to common paint damage.

How should I wash my vehicle after installation?

Accepted Answer

Immediately after install, wait at least 72 hours before washing your vehicle. Regular hand washing with quality automotive Car Wash Soap and a clean microfiber wash mitt is recommended.  Dry with clean Microfiber drying towels.Although it is not recommended, traditional car washes can be used, just know the risks of damage beforehand.Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners and pressure washers.  Additional care instructions are provided following installation.

Can I Wax PPF after install

Yes. You can apply automotive waxes and spray detailers to your vehicle's Paint Protection Film (PPF).Avoid applying wax or detailers in direct sunlight or when the film's surface is hot. If using a colored wax or product containing dyes, test it on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure it does not discolor or stain the film.

Can I apply a ceramic coating over Paint Protection Film (PPF)

Yes, but it's important to use a ceramic coating specifically approved for PPF.  PPF is much thicker, more durable and will last longer than a ceramic coating.  Ceramic Coating will NOT provide any additional protection to your vehicle's paint.  Certain ceramic coatings may contain chemicals or have pH levels that are incompatible with Paint Protection Film. Using an incompatible coating can damage the film's protective top layer, potentially causing discoloration, pitting, yellowing, or surface deterioration.
